NEW DESTINATION: ICARAIZINHO, BRAZIL |

This is the paradise found after the mega-expedition where the best riders in the world explored 350km of Brazil’s windiest coastline, assigned with the mission to find the perfect location for ClubVentos’ second resort.
This beautiful bay, which offers everything from flat water to waves, is a slow-paced fishing village, perfect for relaxing from the city stress. The place is extraordinarily beautiful, with abundant palm-tree vegetation. No roads, no rush, no cellphone coverage! Just a stunning beautiful beach, with steady wind and awesome conditions: inside the bay there is sheltered flat water, ideal for beginners, kiters, and freestylers, and at the east tip of the bay, there is a reef generating ramps for wave enthusiasts.
Icaraizinho is located between Fortaleza and Jericoacoara, about 2/3 of the way.
The opening schedule of the new Vela center is:
July/2008 – start of operation, with windsurfing and kitesurfing services, operating from Pousada Les Alizes, which also offers a nice beachfront restaurant.
July/2009 – opening of Vela Icaraizinho Resort, a high-service watersports center, planned by one of the most talented architects in Brazil, designed to offer a relaxing environment and top-class service to sailors and their families.
Vela is offering a special deal for those that wish to try Jericoacoara and Icaraizinho on the same trip to Brazil: you can make a single windsurfing rental contract, valid for both locations, allowing you to save money.
